| Ocean View Apartments — Summer 2008 Housing Application |
Summer housing at Ocean View requires a minimum rental commitment of 10 or more weeks (70 or more consecutive nights) between May 4 and August 16. Additional nights are available after August 16 for students who are transitioning to fall housing.
Summer housing is available to any current student, but summer employees receive priority consideration until April 1. Any summer housing request submitted after April 1 will be considered on a space-available, first-come / first-serve basis.

PLEASE NOTE:
Ocean View is vacated August 16 to prepare for fall residents. If you are enrolled for the fall semester and are residing in Ocean View at the end of the summer period, you may request additional transitional housing—which is provided until early fall checkin. See "Additional Nights".

In order to stay in campus housing beyond August 16, proceed as follows.
I understand ...
- I must check-out from my summer room assignment at Ocean View no later than Saturday, August 16.
- To stay in campus housing, it is my responsibility to request it from the Housing Office prior to Friday, August 15.
- I would be required to move from my summer assignment at Ocean View to a temporary, transitional assignment on campus.
- This transitional assignment is only available from August 16-21, and I must move out of this transitional assignment from 2-4pm on August 21. I must also check-in to my fall housing assignment at this time if I am residing in campus housing.
- I will be charged for each additional night until the start of my fall semester housing.
- Fall semester housing begins on Saturday, August 30, unless I am on the Housing Office "early fall arrival" list because the college has asked me to return early (e.g. fall athletes, leaders, orientation volunteers, etc.).
- Meal service is not required and not included with these Additional Nights in temporary housing. Food may be purchased in the DC(cash only) or in the Study(cash or credit) when those facilities are open.

By submitting this form, I agree to pay the charge(s) for the total number of days selected. I understand my student account will be charged, and interest will accrue on any unpaid balance commencing after the last day of this agreement. I understand that I may cancel this agreement before the first date of the summer period and will only be charged a $150 cancellation fee. I understand once I occupy summer housing, I am responsible for the entire rental amount.
