As specified in the Faculty Handbook, the following 3 criteria serve as the basis for the Personnel Committee review. Feel free to use these criteria to organize your comments.
Specific information is more helpful than general conclusions since the Personnel Committee will need to put together an overall composite picture in order to make its own recommendation.
The Personnel Committee is also aware that reputations are at stake in this process as well as the health of the community. For that reason, input should be based upon firsthand knowledge and intended for the good of the candidate as well as the community.
